There are a number of excellent local restaurants –Coia’s which has been in the same family for over 70 years is only 300 yards from the Guesthouse and offers traditional Italian food, it boasts an ‘Open Kitchen’so diners can see the food being cooked. Our Guesthouse is also in a quiet conservation area.
We also have Nakoda –less than 100 yards from the Guesthouse, this has been voted Best Indian Restaurant in Scotland for 2013 and 2014, the food is excellent.
Since taking over the business, we have continued to invest in the property, which includes a new wiring system in place along with an upgrade of the heating system. This investment continues to the public areas and to the letting bedrooms, each of which are well presented and offer guests pleasant and spacious accommodation.
The rooms come equipped with all white bedding and fresh towels in the bathrooms –we endeavour to to give our guests the best experience possible and always try our utmost to give the best advice possible on places to visit and things to see, which in Glasgow is an enviable task as all museums, art galleries etc are free if run by the City Fathers and with so much in the vicinity;Glasgow Cathedral;Religious Museum;Glasgow's Oldest House;Glasgow Green and museum all being within walking distance the choices are numerous
